Editorial: Member Registration Opens for Testing Phase

We are opening registration for our member area on a test basis, introducing moderated comments, profile management, and rating features while continuing to work on improvements.

By Open Road Radio Newsroom Filed under Editorial / Station 1 min read

As part of the continued development of our platform, we are opening registration for our member area on a test basis starting today.

This step allows users to create accounts and begin exploring the first community features, including profile management and content rating tools, which are now fully functional. These features are being introduced gradually to ensure stability, usability, and a positive user experience.

During this testing phase, comments and user contributions may be moderated. Submissions can be reviewed by our editorial team before being publicly visible. This approach is intended to maintain respectful discussion, prevent misuse, and ensure that community interactions remain constructive and relevant.

We want to emphasize that this is an early testing phase. While core functionality is in place, we are actively working on further improvements, refinements, and bug fixes. Some features may change or be adjusted based on feedback and ongoing development.

We appreciate the patience and support of our early users and encourage constructive feedback as we continue building out the platform. Our goal is to create a community space that is informative, respectful, and valuable for everyone.

More updates and additional features will be announced as development continues.

Update Severe Storm Threat With Large Hail and Possible Tornadoes Forecast for Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles

Meteorologists are warning of a developing severe weather setup across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles. Forecasters say thunderstorms forming Thursday afternoon and evening could produce very large hail, damaging wind gusts up to about 70 mph, and isolated tornadoes. The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of the eastern Texas Panhandle under a “slight risk” for severe weather, while surrounding areas remain under a marginal risk. Supercell storms are possible along a dryline boundary, raising the chance of large hail and localized severe damage.
